Sounds like you have 2 more very interesting weeks ahead, George. IB is different indeed! Thanks for describing your experiences in such detail. I'm sure IB would look different here in Ontario too. Do you find that the students you are meeting have a strong conceptual understanding of the material they are working with? How much does the teaching involve presenting followed by practicing solving problems? Is there much emphasis on ensuring that the concepts are understood?
Really glad you chose HK, I'm sure the cultural experience is intriguing as well. I look forward to more good reading when you have the time!
